JOB SUMMARY:

Max Insurance is looking for a dedicated and determined Claims Assistant to help drive excellence in our claims department by providing administrative support to our Claims Adjusters.
Our Claims Assistant will gather and record information from our customers to create new claim reports, ensure data is entered into our system accurately, and perform ad-hoc duties as required by the claims team.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as the first point of contact to customers who are reporting an insurance claim
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that every interaction results in a positive experience
  • Gather and record all relevant information regarding the insurance claim and enter data into system
  • Direct inbound calls to the appropriate internal resource
  • Maintain effective communication with claims department staff and other stakeholders
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the claims department
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in an administrative support role
  • A drive and eagerness to learn
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry and the claims process is preferred
  • The ability to prioritize and organize workload
  • The desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • The ability to be empathetic to our customers in their time of need
