Due to continued growth, we are seeking a passionate, driven and client focused Alliance Manager who will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing relationships with out-licensed partners and distributors globally. You will ensure all partnerships are aligned with the company's strategic goals, delivering mutual value and driving growth. The role will also involve financial accountability, ensuring that budget targets are met for international expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing distribution partners, acting as the primary point of contact for all partnership-related matters.
  • Identify and understand customer needs, aligning them with Colonis Pharma's strategic objectives.
  • Proactively manage account expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess account performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Conduct contract management to ensure partners are performing in line with expectations and manage the renewal of contracts.

Onboarding:

  • Collaborate with the new product introduction team to plan and execute efficient onboarding processes for new customers across multiple territories.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful product launches.
  • Provide project management support as needed to facilitate smooth onboarding transitions.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support customer needs and drive business success.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved.
  • Develop and implement efficient working processes to optimize account management.
  • Work closely with analysts to forecast and manage customer expectations.

Business Development:

  • Support the commercial team in identifying and developing new business opportunities at an international level.
  • Contribute to sourcing new business through designated channels.
  • Meet the day-to-day management needs of key accounts.                                                                                                                

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent), ideally in a business or scientific discipline with an advantage to those with further qualifications, e.g. MBA, MSc or PhD
  • Experience in commercial or business development roles in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record and thorough understanding of out licensing deal structures
  • Ability to interact confidently and effectively with internal and external business leaders at the highest level capable of building positive relationships with customers (internal & external), colleagues and relevant industry contacts
  • Already have an established network of internationally based commercial partners would be an advantage.
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Self-starter, able to complete tasks and manage deadlines
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, to deadlines and with attention to detail
  • Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills, both written and verbal with an ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees across international markets
  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively internationally
