We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst, specialised in operational analytics to join our People Operations team at Atlassian. You will involve managing operational analytics to different functions within our team, including Global Mobility, Transactional support, and the Helpdesk team. At Atlassian, the Business Analyst is a versatile professional who enjoys assisting global teams, excels at analysing data, and offers valuable insights that improve our business practices. Responsibilities
What you will do
- Gather and analyze HR data from diverse sources like Workday, Jira, ICIMS.
- Collaborate with the HR Operations team and other HR groups to analyze trends and metrics, supporting decision-making and improving service delivery.
- Deliver findings to leadership through reports and dashboards on a weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Manage People Operations team's Objective and Important results analytics
- Support ad hoc projects involving data and metric analysis, along with other assignments
- Analyze crucial data to ensure comprehensive understanding of trends, bringing attention to them.
- Collaborate with Operations teams to focus on continuous improvement
Qualifications
Skills/Experience needed
- 8+ years experience in HR data analysis (HR Shared Services domain)
- Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Excel,Tableau, PowerBi, R and Python
- Proficient in Data Visualisation and Storytelling
- Proficient in HR Operations processes
- Proficient in conducting data analysis for informed decision-making and implementing resolutions
- Understand problems to identify solutions
- Think creatively and collaborate with teams to address our challenges
- Decision-making on aspects like requirement prioritisation, scope, and assessing solution viability
- Essential skill in asking relevant questions and interpreting received information
- Documentation and writing skills, including use cases and business requirement documents
- Share recommendations to senior leaders and lead stakeholder meetings.
