JOB DESCRIPTION

FCamara UK is looking for a new person to join our team in the role of Data Engineer to work with us on one of our projects in the banking area.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

Design and develop robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security throughout the lifecycle, utilising reconciliation processes to validate data quality.
Monitor and optimise data processing and storage solutions for performance and efficiency.
Document data processes, workflows, and system architecture clearly and comprehensively.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues as they arise.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a solid understanding of data engineering principles and best practices.
SQL Server - 4+ years
Python - 2+ years
Azure Data Factory and data warehousing solutions - 2+ years
SOFA
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Understanding of data quality practices, including reconciliation methods to ensure data integrity.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A background in financial services or banking data is advantageous but not required.
