Responsibilities

• Represent the company and maintain its performance levels within this position. 
• Develop code in C++, Linux OS and Java
• Create test plans and benches for software builds
• Produce, maintain, and modify automation functions for optimum performance. 
• Process integration needs for internal and external use. 
• As a team member, contribute to the development of technical solutions utilizing: Java, C++, Linux OS, JavaScript, C#/.NET MVC, and Golang.  
• Test software and review code. 
• All other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Must be skilled in the following areas:

• Must demonstrate a professional demeanor.  
• Have knowledge of and or experienced in  
  • Java, C/C++, C#, 
  • Version Control (GIT)
  • Operating Systems (Windows, UNIX)
•  Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities surrounding software Development life cycle and Agile methodologies. 
• Must have experience in documentation and technical Writing. 
• Able to describe and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. 

Preferred Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance 
• Experienced with working in a DEVCOM environment. 
• Trained in Full Stack Web Development
• Able to create UML diagrams 
• Able to design database schemas
• Familiar with military operations, and terminology

Clearance:

Must have a current DoD clearance.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or similar or a STEM degree. 
• 0-5 years of software programming experience. 
• 4 additional years with direct relatable experience can be substituted 

Location:

• Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.  
• This is a hybrid remote position based on the government customer’s approval. 
• Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Schedule flexing is available with the PM’s approval. 

Travel:

Only upon need.
