Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Media Relations Assistant to support our media outreach and industry positioning efforts. This role involves building and maintaining targeted media lists, managing lists for conferences, listicles, awards, and podcasts, and efficiently distributing pre-developed pitches. The ideal candidate is thorough, organized, and reliable. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, build, and refine media lists using Muck Rack, Google Search, and other relevant tools.

  • Curate and update lists for conferences, awards, podcasts, and listicles across various outlets.

  • Maintain up-to-date contact information and ensure list accuracy for outreach.

  • Distribute pre-developed pitch emails to contacts on media lists, ensuring timely outreach and tracking.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless and organized communication with media contacts.

  • Other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.) and adept with online research.

  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

  • Has common sense and critical thinking skills

Schedule:

  • Production schedule: 7am to 4pm Pacific with an hour break

  • Training schedule: 8:30am to 5:30pm Pacific with an hour break

  • The training duration might vary depending on the learning capability of the assistant
