Schedule:

  • Full-time, 8 AM to 5 PM Monday to Friday

Job Description

As a Data Entry Specialist in the legal process serving industry, you’ll be at the forefront of facilitating critical legal proceedings. This role combines the precision of data management with the excitement of the legal field. You’ll be responsible for accurately inputting and processing sensitive legal documents into the company’s specialized SERP manager system. Your work will directly impact the smooth operation of legal processes, requiring a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in legal document handling while contributing to the important work of ensuring due process in the legal system.

Responsibilities
  • Process 20-40 legal files daily, maintaining high accuracy and adhering to 24-hour turnaround times
  • Enter data from various sources (paper documents, forms, electronic files) into the SERP manager system
  • Review entered data for errors, making necessary corrections to ensure accuracy
  • Scan and digitize physical documents as required
  • Assist in assigning tasks to process serving contractors
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive legal information
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet deadlines
  • Adapt to varying workloads while maintaining quality and efficiency


Requirements
  • Proficient typing skills with emphasis on speed and accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of legal terminology (preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with data entry software and willingness to learn new systems
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Willingness to participate in a comprehensive week-long training program
