Senior Sales Manager for Tietoevry Payment Products & Services

Tietoevry Payment Products & Services is the leading payments software and SaaS provider in the Nordics on a trajectory for global growth. We are seeking an experienced sales person who will take the responsibility in sales in defined geographic regions and contribute significantly to the success of our business goals and growth strategy.  

Tietoevry Payment Products & Services belongs to Tietoevry Payments, which again is part of the Tietoevry Banking domain. Following a reorganisation of the Sales department and an objective to grow globally, we have a newly opened position for a senior sales manager.

Tietoevry Payment Products & Services develops account to account payment solutions for banks intended for use by retail and corporate customers, offered through their banking relationship. We recently launched our Payments as a Service Plus offering that extends SaaS with operational capabilities.

With us you will be responsible for

Driving Sales and business development to build pipeline and close deals in order to meet our strategic targets and growth strategy. Negotiation and closing of contracts. Providing leadership to pre-sales teams in sales processes
 

Your key tasks will include
  • Build relationships with potential new customers, identify and develop leads

  • Creating pipeline and closing deals

  • Lead contract negotiation with bid teams

  • Executing go-to-market plan together with sales and marketing teams

  • Maintain relationship with potential customers and own sales case until handover to Delivery

  • Develop and close contracts and project statements of work with customers

  • Support compliance and other audit activities with customers

  • Contribute to thought leadership in Payments area

We expect you to have
  • Demonstrable and successful track-record of winning new strategic long-term deals

  • Experience and understanding of the cash management or transaction banking business domain

  • B2B software sales experience is a plus

  • Demonstrable negotiating skills

  • Experience with writing and negotiating contracts

  • High-level sales or executive presentation skills with ability to gain credibility and trust with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders and influencers within the customer organizations

  • Excellent written (technical), presentation and verbal communication skills

  • Fluent language skills in English, verbal and written
