As the Supply Planner, you will help plan and procure for an assigned group of products or vendors, ensuring timely product availability to enhance the customer experience. You will focus on tracking purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, and overseeing shipments to ensure seamless product delivery. Collaborating closely with the Demand Planning team, you will work on inventory management, oversee supplier scorecards, and champion the “Right Product, Right Place, Right Time” philosophy to drive supply chain efficiency. Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, you will help drive improvements across the supply chain organization.
You Will:
Plan and procure manufacturing and finished goods to meet demand forecasts and inventory goals.
Resolve service and delivery issues with customer service and distribution centers, performing late shipment analysis.
Manage inventory performance, ensuring agreement on company targets and goals.
Maintain accurate planning data in ERP and APS systems.
Review urgent needs and recommend air freight.
Collaborate on process improvements in planning, systems, and data quality.
Enhance the customer experience through proactive decision-making and effective communication.
Work with internal and external partners, maintaining strong relationships.
You Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in supply chain purchasing, including manufacturing and finished goods.
Strong understanding of supply chain operations, with experience in ERP, planning, and business intelligence tools (e.g., QAD, Anaplan, Power BI, or similar tools).
Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain functions, with ability to collaborate across multiple business units and organizational levels.
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience in performance analysis.
The expected salary target for this position is $85,000 yearly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
