Position Purpose: Reporting to the Sr. Dir, DEI, develops, and implements enterprise-wide DEI programs that support the goals and strategies of Centene's Employee Inclusion Groups (EIGs). Provides overall support and resources to enable EIG leadership to effectively and efficiently engage their group members and the broader organization. Enables the continued evolution of the EIGs to enhance impact to group members and the organization as well as optimize related processes and structure.
  • Support strategy development to drive impact through EIGs in key pillars of development, innovation, community engagement, mentoring, networking.

  • Support planning and execution of programs that deliver on said strategy.

  • Acts as a liaison and advisor for EIGs across the enterprise, including at the business unit level ensuring the EIGs have resources, information, governance and support in alignment with their mission and strategy; manage succession planning, the leadership transition process and onboarding of new EIG leaders.

  • Act as the primary relationship contact between the Employee Inclusion Group leadership and their Executive Sponsors as well as the Executive Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council, including managing the EIG leader mentoring program.

  • Oversees the internal and external stakeholder partnerships that advance talent, community and business impact objectives for the EIGs such as collaborating with Talent Attraction & Acquisition in recruiting diverse talent to the organization.

  • Support the delivery of key programming such as the Centene EIG Signature Speaker Series and other history/heritage month programs in partnership with EIG leaders to drive learning, dialogue and action among all employees.

  • Develop and maintain appropriate processes, toolkits, guidelines, policies, practices, calendar and communication channels that support efficient and effective operations, including overseeing the management and utilization of the Employee Inclusion Group Membership platform.

  • Lead the delivery of the annual Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Summit, enabling strategic planning and goal setting for the EIGs along with the development of EIG leaders.

  • Oversees the Employee Inclusion Group budget allocations, approvals and process vendor payments.

  • Keep current on employee network best practices, updates and trends and applies effective benchmarks to measure the impact of EIG programs and initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field. 4+ years related experience, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. DEI experience strongly preferred but not required. Passionate about diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI), employee development and engagement. Demonstrated experience in leading Employee/Business Resource/Inclusion Groups (or equivalent). Experience drafting and delivering executive-level presentations and communications. Ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into insights; ability to manage complex budgets.

Pay Range: $67,400.00 - $121,300.00 per year
