Job description

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for financial planning and analysis for the Emerging Businesses, including IGS Solar and IGS CNG Services. The position performs financial budgeting, forecasting and analytical functions to support management planning, investment decisions and business operations, as well as reporting and compliance matters with third-party investment partners.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Areas of initial primary ownership and responsibility include, but are not limited to, Emerging Business revenues, operating expenses, and cash flow management. Special projects will also be assigned regularly.  Responsibilities in these areas will include:

  • Create and present annual budgets to internal stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Analyze and report on monthly operational results in comparison to budget and maintain fiscal year forecasts.
  • Prepare detailed cash flow projections that are used in decision making by top executives at IGS.
  • Work closely with Investor Relations team to provide data on actual results to third-party Investors.
  • Collaborate with Accounting team to ensure proper coding of revenues and expenses during monthly close process.
  • Develop effective models and techniques for financial forecasting and evaluation, while seeking continuous improvement in processes.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and perform financial analysis for special projects as needed.

 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the evaluation of existing processes to improve the performance, output and efficiency of assigned tasks.  Assist with implementing new processes as needed.
  • As necessary, assist in sales process of Residential and Commercial Solar assets to joint venture partners.
  • Ongoing cross-training with other Emerging Business team members to learn external reporting, compliance and debt service requirements.
  • Participate in or lead projects as required.

  • Excellent communicator with strong organizational and interpersonal skills necessary to interface with all levels of the Emerging Businesses, as well as external business partners.

  • Excel in quickly conceptualizing and assimilating data to make decisions and take appropriate action.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 2+ years of financial planning and analysis experience preferred.

Salary Range:

$58,820.00 - $94,110.00

*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.

This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
