Job description

This is a highly collaborative role, partnering with Marketing teammates plus cross-functional partners from Creative, Merchandising, and more to transform Grove’s customer experience. While much of the work is rooted in the email channel, assignments also stretch across push notifications, in-app messages, SMS, and more. This role balances analytical acumen with creative thinking; thoughtful planning with speedy execution; and business outcomes with mission alignment. 

THE JOB
  • Execute the technical setup, QA, deployment, and tracking of a high volume of marketing campaigns, working directly in the ESP
  • Plan and set up email testing that yields valuable insights and optimizations
  • Prepare thoughtful creative briefs and collaborate with the Creative team to produce high-impact campaigns
  • Analyze data and evaluate the performance of campaigns on a weekly and monthly basis

  • ABOUT YOU
  • 2+ years in CRM, ideally with a digital-first retailer 
  • Hands-on experience with one or more enterprise-grade ESPs (Braze preferred)Basic HTML proficiency
  • Knowledge of email best practices, including subject lines, content, segmentation, personalization, deliverability, etc.
  • Understanding of A/B testing, measurement, and optimization against key metrics
  • Experience collaborating with a Creative team and briefing emails for themA history of making data-driven decisions, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Looker a plus
