Job description

Job Summary:

The Solution Marketing Manager will contribute significantly to Allied Telesis’   success by driving solution adoption, increasing market share, and building strong ecosystem partner and customer relationships. This position will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between product development and sales, ensuring that solutions are effectively positioned and marketed to meet customer needs.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis:  Conduct in-depth market research to identify target audiences, understand their needs and analyze competitive landscapes.  Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Market Engagement:  Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers and customers to gather feedback and understand market trends.
  • Solution Positioning: Develop compelling solution positioning and messaging that differentiates the company's offerings from competitors.
  • Content Creation: Create various marketing materials, such as whitepapers, case studies, presentations, and blog posts, to educate and engage target audiences
  • Sales Enablement: Develop sales tools and training materials to equip sales teams with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively sell the product or service
  • Sales Support: Support regional sales teams to engage with prospects and secure new deals
  • Marcom Support: Support Marcom team to implement marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive demand for the product or service.

Key Objectives:

  • Identify business opportunities
  • Initiate and drive the development of the solutions in key markets
  • Contribute to validate the solutions.
  • Contribute to build compelling value proposition and solid competitive advantages.
  • Enable Sales Teams to increase market share.
  • Identify and grow solution ecosystems.
  • Drive solutions adoption

Experience, Skills & Abilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in solution marketing
  • Proven track record of successfully navigating the target market segments.
  • Technical knowledge of key products/services within these segments.
  • Strong understanding of the relevant industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Ability to effectively analyze and optimize the value chain of the  target market segments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Education / Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related field
