Overview: 

We are seeking an Associate Account Executive to help grow our sales outreach! This is an opportunity to partner closely with our Sales Directors and build relationships with industry leaders. We are looking for a candidate with 2-3 years of business development experience that will identify new accounts for our Sales Directors. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to dive into the world of sales. 


Responsibilities: 

  •  Build Customer Relationships
  • Generate sales opportunities for the Field Sales team to pursue.
  • Manage leads by qualifying, distributing, and updating information in databases like Salesforce and Salesloft.
  •  Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the federal market
  •  Collaborate closely with Account Executives (AEs) from Sales and Marketing to convert leads into customer meetings
  • Lead and coordinate regular monthly and quarterly customer review meetings.
  • Evangelist to, and in support of, assigned and/or focused accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to provide continuous improvement for customers to ensure full adoption and usage of VAST products.
  • Lead and coordinate regular monthly and quarterly customer review meetings.
  • Supporting Regional Territory Managers with Quoting.



Requirements

  • 2-3 years of sales or business development experience
  • Prior experience with data storage sales preferred 
  • 1-2 years experience with cold-calling and targeting new accounts
