Senior QA Engineer (Backend)

Team: working on the core backend responsible for payment processing that integrates multiple microservices and connects with a variety of external systems. This backend is crucial for ensuring smooth and secure financial transactions and requires robust testing and quality assurance.
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join this team.

Responsibilities

• Perform API testing for backend services to ensure reliability and stability
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for back-end services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, managers, DevOps, and other stakeholders) to ensure seamless system integrations
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, plans, and bug reports
• Work in the development team to ensure early detection and resolution of issues
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Mountebank, Allure)
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent) to automate testing and deployments
• Solid understanding of software testing techniques and test case design principles
• Prior experience in payments processing or testing of complex backend applications is a plus
• Experience with mock servers to test complex integrations and backend systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative mindset and teamwork abilities to work across departments
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality outputs in fast-paced environments
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken) for effective communication with global teams
