HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:


80% Responsible for the concept, design and production of digital collateral that supports the Carter’s, OshKosh and Little Planet brands in our digital and retail spaces. 

  • Supports the eCommerce and retail design teams on all creative content, including assisting with layouts and concepting laydown photography.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and maintain exemplary typography and design skills in a digital space. 
  • Be flexible and update multiple assets when our promotional cadence changes. Will need to regularly rework the design of assets based on needs of our business as well as marketing strategy shifts.
  • Present concepts to Sr. Designers and Creative Directors. Design and implement approved concepts through creation of final art for production.
  • Work on multiple promotional and creative projects at one time while maintaining deadlines.

20% Develop brand systems and partner with all channels to evolve the design of our brands

  • Build a library of swipe and mood boards to pull for all needed projects. Explore graphic treatments and design elements to be used for all digital projects.
  • Assist in the concept and art direct laydown photography for email and site at our photo studio.
  • Take an active interest in digital advertising and constantly research and be inspired by best practices in the market, both creatively as well as from a marketing and promotional lens

Must have:

  • Advance knowledge in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, production skills a must. 
  • Organized, self-motivated, collaborative, detail-oriented and able to independently manage a project from conception to production
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, work within given creative parameters and demanding deadlines and seek ways to improve processes and quality of output within functional areas
  • Excellent presentation and verbal skills are essential
  • Ability to take creative direction and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail, organized, balance multiple tasks, eye for color and design, good communication
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented approach
  • Team player


Preferred skills and experience:

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Graphic Design, specific to retail a plus
  • Fluent in fundamentals of design and production 
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 strongly preferred)
