Your Mission:

At Bitrefill, we’re looking for a Senior Crypto Backend Developer who’s not just talented but driven by a passion for crypto and cutting-edge web3 technology. In this role, you'll dive deep into building and optimizing our crypto payment solutions, making a real impact by integrating with suppliers and enhancing the backbone of our services. You'll work closely with a dynamic team of Backend and Frontend Developers, and creative designers, ensuring everything we build is fast, reliable, and scales effortlessly.

Our Tech Stack:

• Node/TypeScript
• Express.js
• MongoDB, MySQL
• Amazon AWS, Kubernetes

Your responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Develop and maintain backend systems for crypto payments using Node.js/TypeScript.
• Design RESTful APIs for wallets, transaction services, and dApps.
• Manage crypto nodes and services, ensuring security and scalability using EVM-based crypto node management, blockchain indexing (e.g., NBXplorer, Electrs)
• Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases for data management and blockchain indexing.
• Implement cloud-based infrastructure and scalable deployment using AWS and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

You bring with you:

• You reside in: Europe/Americas time zones
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in written and spoken English
• 6+ years of programming experience, 2-3 years in the crypto industry.
• Proficient in Node.js/TypeScript, cloud platforms (AWS), Docker, Kubernetes, and version control (Git).
• Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, cryptography, and consensus mechanisms.
• Experience with smart contracts, decentralized protocols (DeFi, dApps), and cross-chain interoperability.
• Expertise in cybersecurity best practices and secure key management.
• Ability to scale decentralized systems and optimize backend performance.
• Active member & participant in the web3 community
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in written and spoken English
• The ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments along with the capability to work independently
• The willingness to champion your ideas in the web3 space and bring them to fruition.
• Experience managing crypto services in a production environment
