Informatica Developer

Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement solutions integrating applications, systems or platforms across the

enterprise or its units/departments, cloud, or on-premises

• Evaluate existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions meet organizational needs
• Participate in solutions design and presentations in our solution review authorities, as well as complete design governance review (e.g. Non-Functional Requirements, etc.)
• Design, develop and maintain informatica cloud assets using appropriate data load techniques
• Debug and tune Data Integration, Application Integration, Data Quality/Profiling assets in Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC)
• Troubleshoot and recommend improvements and alternate technologies
• Lead code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural and requirement specifications
• May prepare or review product documentation, written instructions or technical literature for accuracy and completeness
• Implement approved authentication methodologies (OAuth2, SAML, etc.) for integration.
• Support project deployments across all environments (DEV, UAT and Production)
• Monitor production analytics data such as consumption usage and provide immediate remediation if needed

Qualifications:

• Computer Science background education BSc or higher
• Minimum 5 years of Integration development
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) –Primarily Cloud Application Integration and Data Integration
• Experience on Cloud Data Quality and Cloud Data Governance and Catalog would be an asset.
• Hands on experience with API Management development (Informatica API Center/API Manager) would be an asset
• Possess in-depth understanding of database and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks and working with multi-format data such as JSON, Parquet, analytical model file formats and others
• Strong knowledge of API design and development with hands on experience for both SOAP and REST services
• Experience with Anaplan, Oracle ERP/EPM integration would be an asset
• Good knowledge of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS concepts
• Good understanding of traditional RDBMS system like SQL Server, Oracle, etc. as well as Cloud database such as Azure SQL and Oracle ATP.
