Requirements

Tecsys is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior FP&A professional to join our team. In this role, you will act as a trusted business partner, providing valuable financial insights and supporting key decision-making processes. If you have a strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, along with a CPA designation and experience in a service-oriented organization, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Provide ongoing FP&A support , acting as trusted business Partner by turning data into actionable insights.
  • Support the FP&A team with monthly analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, including cost, resource, business case and special project analysis.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPIs and financial metrics.
  • Identify business trends and gaps, offering recommendations to senior management.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of FP&A processes by leveraging current software tools.
  • Assist in various ad-hoc analyses and projects, focusing on strategic growth and initiatives.
  • Play a key role in the control framework while driving efficiency and continuously reviewing operating expenses against budget.


Requirements:
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in an FP&A role within a service organization (preferably in a software company).
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field of study.
  • CPA designation is required.
  • Dynamic, diplomatic, and methodical with lots of initiative.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning or similar planning tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with various levels of management and provide ongoing financial advice. 
  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
