Job Summary

We are looking for a proficient Senior Technical Project Manager with a deep knowledge of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will serve as both a Scrum Master and a Project Manager, leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. This role involves overseeing projects from concept through completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards. The candidate should be a solid communicator, a skilled facilitator, and have a proven track record of leading teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent software development projects through all phases of the SDLC.
  • Scrum Master Role: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews) and ensure adherence to Agile practices.
  • Agile Coaching: Mentor teams and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum principles and foster a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with product owners, development teams, and key stakeholders to prioritize work, define project scope, and align project objectives with business goals.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues, ensuring minimal impact on project delivery.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress, track key performance metrics (KPIs), and provide regular updates to stakeholders, using tools like burndown charts, velocity reports, and risk registers.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment by facilitating communication and resolving team conflicts.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure proficient resource allocation and manage team capacity for optimal productivity.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine and enhance Agile processes to improve team performance and project outcomes.
  • Documentation: Maintain project records, such as project plans, status updates, and instructions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical project management, with at least 5 years working as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM). PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid knowledge of SDLC, software engineering practices, and technologies. Experience working with development teams (preferably in software or product engineering).
  • Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum.
  • Project Tools: Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, MS Project, or similar.
  • Management: Must be able to manage teams from various departments, provide advice, and encourage continuous improvements.
  • Communication: Top-notch verbal and written communication skills with the ability to proficiently interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex project challenges.
  • Time Management: Can oversee multiple projects simultaneously, with proficient organizational skills and the ability to manage time well.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in industries such as software development, IT services, or technology consulting.
  • Experience working in distributed, remote teams across multiple time zones.
