The Role
As Wpromote, a seven- time AdAge Best Places to Work winner, continues to grow at a rapid pace, our People Operations team is seeking a motivated, growth and detail-oriented individual to provide support for onboarding, employee changes, offboarding, learning and development, employee relations and special projects. As the People Operations Generalist, you’ll use your can-do attitude and passion for people, organization, processes, and details to support the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be an engagement ambassador, comfortable with handling highly confidential information, and will know how to prioritize work while understanding the balancing act of managing multiple projects simultaneously. The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $70,000 - $85,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).
*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions

You Will BeSupporting our employee lifecycle from on-boarding to off-boarding, including orientation, exit interviews, etc.First point of contact for employees on inquiries relating to benefits, policy interpretation, programs, and other people-related topics Owning the overall employee change process, including but not limited to processing (via Paycom HRIS) internal transfers, promotions, compensation changes, relocations, and departures Supporting the semi-monthly payroll process to ensure new hires, exits, pay changes, and Leaves of Absence are processed accurately and on timePulling and auditing ad-hoc and regular reporting (headcount, terminations, new hires, promotions, EEO, etc.) to proactively ensure data integrity and accuracy, and assist in identifying and resolving issues as necessaryWork closely with our benefits lead to support employees through the leave of absence process by determining eligibility, maintaining regular communication with employees and our vendor, and facilitating the return to work processLead the involuntary exit process Ensure people-related documents are kept fresh and up to date on the Employee Resource Center Will be responsible for creating and maintaining SOPsPartnering with the People Operations team to provide comprehensive and consistent coaching and support to employees and managers on performance management, employee relations, and assist in proactively identifying talent needsParticipating in the development, delivery, and evaluation of people programs: rewards cycles, surveys, performance reviews, employee resource groups (ERGS), etc.Assisting in policy implementation and rollout of new processes to ensure as positive an experience as possible for employees and managersPartnering with the People Operations team in identifying areas for process improvement within the People Operations department and overall agencyHelp foster an engaging, high-performance culture that lives by our core values: Cultivate Curiosity, Build Connections, Act with Respect, Deliver Excellence, and Celebrate SuccessHelping to maintain and grow the presence and effectiveness of our People Operations team
You Must Have2-3+ years of experience in a fast-paced People Operations (Human Resources) role with a desire to learn and grow in your career Solid understanding and experience supporting compliance with employment lawStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential in this roleThe ability to work independently. You operate with a high level of autonomy to balance and prioritize multiple competing responsibilitiesThe ability to prioritize and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced environmentExcellent relationship-building skills and can communicate with credibility to all levels of the organizationStrong follow-through, judgment, and a can-do attitudeComfortable with HRIS reporting as well as managing and analyzing data using Excel and/or Google SheetsExceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsAbility to maintain and protect confidential data with great discretion, judgment, and professionalismFamiliarity with Google Workspace (G Suite) is nice to have, but not essential
