Salary Range:
$96,000.00 - $124,000.00
What’s the role?
The Learning Programs Manager will support creating seamless and effective learning experiences for all Etsy employees, from Etsy’s new hires to people leaders. You’ll support curriculum development and successful delivery of current and future learning programs, ensuring smooth coordination and an optimized experience that enhances Etsy’s offerings. You will guide partner teams and vendors in the delivery of current and new initiatives, ensuring the process is clear, all elements are connected, and that curriculum and execution is aligned with overall company strategy. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, detailed project management, and strong presentation skills.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Learning Strategy and Programs. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.
This role requires your presence in Etsy’s Brooklyn Office once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. What does the day-to-day look like?
Building and/or maintaining effective learning programs that improve our employees' ability to drive impact in their roles, meet competency expectations, and feel meaningful career growth during their time with the company.
Developing and driving project plans through collaborating effectively across teams to define strategy, goals, and commitment to timelines and deliverables.
Leading a welcoming and organized new hire experience from pre-boarding all the way through their first 90 days, including facilitating weekly orientation, making incremental optimizations to the content and experience to reflect Etsy’s latest business strategy, and addressing participant feedback themes
Supporting the ongoing operations and continuous improvement of our leadership development programs
Determining data-driven approaches to evaluate the success of our programs and processes, providing timely reports on key data points such as learner participation and progress, and strategizing ways to continuously improve our learning experiences.
Researching best practices for the skills our people leaders need to enhance to inform curriculum design.
Developing and updating materials and resources to ensure accuracy and clarity for the audiences they serve.
Interacting with employees to support their questions and ad hoc needs as it relates to learning programs and processes.
Managing external vendor relationships including responsibilities such as enrollments and ongoing communication and scheduling and troubleshooting with vendors
Supporting the full Performance and Learning team on ad hoc project management and facilitation based on shifting business needs.

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:
5+ years of experience end to end designing and deploying learning and development programming in mid-size organizations for globally distributed audiences.
Advanced project management capability. Demonstrated ability to manage resources, timelines, dependencies, and budgets while maintaining excellent stakeholder expectations across multiple concurrent projects.
Proven track record of accountability, ownership, flexibility and vision even through ambiguity or obstacles.
A growth mindset with the ability to apply and provide helpful and timely feedback that inspires continuous improvement.
Regular application of industry best practices for instructional design, not only when designing and developing content but also when consulting to decentralized learning resources or SMEs.
Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written required. Experience is preferred with facilitation to employees of all levels, both in person and remote. Communication is confident, professional, polished and warm.
Familiarity and comfort with learning and curriculum building tools (such as Docebo, Adobe, Articulate, Camtasia, Canva, Clifton Strengths), communication tools (Gsuite, Slack) and project management tools (Monday.com).
