The Monitoring Admin is responsible for learning/understanding the monitoring tools used by the IT organization and is dedicated to the analysis of those tools and output trends to provide feedback to both the infrastructure and development teams. The admin will conduct regular/daily reviews of systems, logs and alerts to identify areas that need to be addressed to prevent/resolve an impact on performance.
Duties:
Monitor IT systems and notify development and infrastructure teams of changes in performance that need to be addressed
Set up and maintain dashboards to facilitate monitoring:
Identify errors and other performance issues that impact availability/usability of U-Haul software using various tools:
Dynatrace
Kibana
Extrahop
SolarWinds
Grafana
Rapid7
Others
Requirements:
Experience writing queries with KQL or similar
Experience using an APM (Dynatrace, DataDog, AppDynamics etc.)
