As a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst, you will report to the Sr. Manager of Sales Compensation. This highly visible role will work closely with finance and sales leadership to help administer the sales compensation aspects of a global business function and create a real and active partnership with both management and operations. You will provide 'real time' support and analysis to assist with daily operations including employee set up, compensation plan creation, territory assignment review, pay statement calculations, sales inquiry and discrepancy resolution, along with ensuring adherence to budget and company policies. This role is accountable to assist with the seamless operation of the Sales Compensation function and with driving consistency and standardized of process.
In this role, you will:
  • Partner with Finance and business management and serve as a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst supporting both corporate and business unit functions.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Compensation team on a variety of projects, including plan design and communication, commissions calculations, analysis, budgeting and implementation of new programs.
  • Develop, maintain, and update spreadsheets and processes critical to the reporting and tracking of compensation information along with the creation and routing of compensation plans.
  • Assist with calculations and tracking monthly/quarterly incentive compensation payments for the sales organization, including verifying data and preparing monthly reports for Management, Accounting, and the People Team.
  • Work closely with the management regarding compensation plan communication and education.
  • Respond to commissions inquiries including conducting research and preparing commission related adjustments.
  • Work on special projects such as process improvements, data and presentations, and audit requirements
  • Develop written process documents needed to effectively manage compensation-related processes.
  • Perform financial analysis as needed.
  • Assist with driving consistency and accuracy in reporting.
Your background:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with solid experience in Sales Compensation and/or Financial Analysis, Master’s Degree and/or Financial Certificate preferred.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Data Analysis.
  • Experience working with large data sets.
  • Must be self-directed, creative individual with the ability to multi-task in a high paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and engage cross-functionally.
  • Proven ability to operate under pressure and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
