The role:

Design and deliver innovative and user-centred product experiences that align with Busbud’s strategic goals and enhance user satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create aesthetically pleasing and functionally effective solutions, contributing on projects that are key to efforts on improving our user journey, from acquisition to conversion.


What you'll be doing: 
 
  • Identify UX problems and devise solutions in collaboration with product managers and engineers;
  • Design highly reusable components, develop and maintain Busbud’s design system;
  • Contribute to product planning, user research and integration efforts;
  • Constantly engaging with engineers to increase outcome and productivity;
  • Support marketing, brand and recruiting efforts.
     
Who you are:
 
  • Proficient in Figma.
  • Strong UX/UI skills: Craft pixel-perfect designs with attention to detail.
  • User-Centered Design: Empathize with users, gather insights, and turn feedback into actionable designs.
  • Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills in English: Articulate design decisions and their reasoning. 
  • Developer Collaboration: Familiar with design-to-development handoff processes, and understand how designs are implemented.
  • Experience in Agile Environments: Collaborate seamlessly across teams and manage stakeholders effectively. 
  • Able to work autonomously, proactively addressing challenges as they arise.
  • Low ego: Be someone others enjoy working with—open to feedback, with a team-first mindset. 
  • Portfolio or showcase at least two case studies or product projects (web or apps preferred; focus on web)
