Potomac Haven is a mission-driven professional services firm committed to enhancing and revolutionizing the government's digital experience. We provide technical service delivery and program support across a diverse array of federal programs, with a strong focus on national security, public health and safety, and financial services. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Drupal Developer to join our web operations and sustainment team. The successful candidate will oversee the development and maintenance of high-volume websites delivering 1,500,000 page views per month on average (for NCUA.gov) and 300,000 page views per month on average (for MyCreditUnion.gov).  Each conceptual website has a production (live or prod) instance, staging instance, and one or more development (dev) and testing instances.


This role involves collaborating with a dedicated team of content, design, development and accessibility professionals to meet and exceed NCUA's goals and objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops site themes using web coding languages (CSS, HTML, JS, PHP), Drupal 10 modules, and web frameworks.
  • Builds responsive websites using Drupal 10, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, PHP and JavaScript/jQuery. 
  • Formulates effective and responsive designs and turns them into working themes. 
  • Builds user interfaces for websites and web applications. 
  • Converts comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages. 
  • Optimizes search engine optimization (SEO) capabilities. 
  • Follows industry System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes for both Agile and iterative SDLCs.
  • Utilizes data visualization tools, e.g QlikView, High Charts, Tableau, Data Wrapper, Fusion Charts, Sisense, or Plotly, to make complex data more accessible, understandable, usable and appealing to users. 
  • Transforms, improves and integrates data, depending on business requirements. 
  • Automates data visualization workflows and test data outcomes. Experience developing in Drupal; certification required. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, web/software development or related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands on development in CSS, CSS3, HTML, HTML5, JS, JavaScript/JQuery, PHP, Drupal 10 modules and SEO.
  • Must have strong Drupal 10 debugging, analysis skills, PHP Frameworks and JS Frameworks experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Drupal multi language translation.
  • An active Public GitHub with relevant project work demonstrations.
