Job Summary
Working primarily as a member of and support to the Logistic team, supporting supply chain warehouse equipment needs, perform purchasing, monitoring inventory levels and distribution activities of products to limit costs, improve availability and meet customer needs and service. This role also provides opportunities to evaluate existing procedures or streamline activities to meet product procurement needs.
With a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in an entry level role handling materials procurement planning, work in support of tracking material status updates, working with actual and forecasted shortages to achieve timely receipt of materials and to validate supplier commitments. Must be able to work effectively as a team member in a fast paced, high-volume work environment, demonstrating high level of detail, negotiation abilities, and time management skills.
This is a full-time, exempt role and is a member of the logistics department reporting directly to the Procurement Manager.
Allbridge is currently operating under a hybrid work model, allowing colleagues the opportunity to connect with others in person and the flexibility to work remotely. For some business groups and positions, job function requirements may require more or less time at the primary work location.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
· As directed, support the company’s warehouse operations to perform activities related to procuring inventory, materials, office supplies, and capital goods to effectively minimize excess and zero demand inventory.
· Maintain meticulous records in real time of all acquisitions to ensure that purchases remain within budget and on schedule. Coordinate procurement details with accounting personnel to resolve purchase order, invoice and receiving challenges as needed.
· With supervision, perform duties to validate requisitions and confirm each item for quantity, specifications, and delivery requirements.
· As directed, following approved internal procedures, develop, and investigate supply sources, issue requests for quotations, proposals, or bids for those items not covered by any existing purchasing arrangement. May also serve as liaison to vendors and suppliers to coordinate procurement activities.
· Review reports and project demands on a regular basis, adjusting part and supplier settings to match the dynamic demand and supply requirements.
· Participates in special projects and strategic initiatives, as requested.
· With supervision, executes pull-ins, push outs, cancellations, expedites and new orders at minimal cost as required. Adheres to purchasing policies and company business standards of conduct.
· Selects suppliers from the approved vendor list, may negotiate pricing, and deliveries to modify purchase orders in a timely manner, per company policy and within company approved guidelines.
· Periodically evaluate and make recommendations related to existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product procurement needs.
· As requested, provide support to evaluate supplier performance. May participate in supplier business meetings and audits to promote and maintain strong working relationships.
· Keep abreast of related procurement and supply chain advancements, focusing on proactively anticipating business needs and adding value to the team and projects.

· Must remain flexible to travel to support various project needs on a limited basis.

Required Qualifications
· Preference, but not required to have successful completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business, supply chain management, engineering, or related discipline.
· Required to have a minimum of 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in an enterprise level role handling materials or performing purchasing, supply chain, and/or procurement planning.
· Must be able to work effectively as a team member in a fast paced, and high-volume work environment, operating with a high level of detail and conscientiousness. Uses new information or approaches to overcome major resistance or objections.
· Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, both technically and interpersonally in the English language. Exhibits openness to receiving and responding to constructive feedback.
· Clearly communicates timelines and expectations to team members, making decisions in a timely manner when the options are clear and there is little pressure or risk.
· Demonstrated aptitude to become proficient in and to meet and / or exceed job expectations operating with a willingness to learn and gain proficiency.
· Proven ability to understand and apply company resources in accordance with company policy, standards, and best practices.
· Demonstrates technical and/or professional proficiency in a procurement, proactively adjusting for difficulties, and completing objectives efficiently and identifies and takes advantage of opportunities to accomplish multiple objectives.
· Must have a demonstrated ability to operate with a high sense of urgency, professionalism, integrity, collaboration, and ethics.
· Supports the team in building value through creativity and ingenuity, providing leading edge and cost-effective solutions considering new methods to drive the customer advantage.
· Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
