Job description

Your role and responsibilities

Ensure Financial Regulatory Accounting based on German HGB (IFRS knowledge a benefit), including establishing an accounting policy for new transaction and enhancing internal controls.
Manage German corporate tax, trade tax, VAT reporting, payroll tax, and other tax compliance (EU wide knowledge a benefit).
Manage financial audits (e.g. Deloitte or HQ) and tax audits (e.g. Finanzamt, Zoll or HQ) .
Manage and motivate a team of accountants to ensure daily tasks and responsibilities are met to operate the company.
Initiate continuous process improvements to benefit the Accounting team and partner departments to drive process efficiencies.

Your profile

Proven work experience as an Accounting manager
Demonstrable leadership abilities
Solid communication skills
Expertise in resolving conflicts and fostering healthy workplace relationships
Familiarity with SAP
Thorough knowledge of German GAAP
Tax regulations and auditÂ
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Excellent written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile
