A Day in the Life:

The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy focused on building our company's brand presence, generating qualified leads, and driving revenue through targeted sales campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the consulting services industry, expertise in digital marketing, and a strong personal brand. This role requires close collaboration with sales teams, innovative marketing campaign execution, and deep industry knowledge to identify and engage potential clients in need of technology consulting services.

  • Digital Marketing Strategy & Network Building
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to build a strong company presence online, engage with key industry stakeholders, and generate leads.
    • Build and leverage a personal and professional network on LinkedIn to connect with decision-makers in companies seeking technology consulting services.
    • Create engaging, thought-leadership content to increase visibility and establish Sparq as an industry leader on various social media platforms and through digital advertising.
  • Lead Generation & Sales Enablement
    • Collaborate with the sales team to create and execute targeted campaigns that generate leads and drive revenue.
    • Identify and target key companies and decision-makers in need of technology consulting services through tailored marketing efforts and intentional interactions.
    • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and optimize strategies for lead generation and sales conversion.
  • Campaign Development & Execution
    • Design and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns that align with the company's sales objectives and growth goals.
    • Run campaigns for individual sellers and company influencers, leveraging LinkedIn’s tools and paid advertising to amplify reach and engagement.
    • Track, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Brand Building & Thought Leadership
    • Leverage your personal brand and company messaging to position Sparq as a trusted advisor in the technology consulting industry.
    • Develop content marketing strategies, including articles, case studies, and video content, to increase engagement and build credibility within the target market.
    • Stay current on industry trends and best practices, ensuring the company’s marketing approach remains innovative and effective.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between marketing strategies and business goals.
    • Provide leadership and mentorship to our marketing team, fostering a results-driven, collaborative environment.

What it Takes:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on marketing and lead generation for the technology consulting services industry.
  • Proven experience in running successful advertising campaigns, building personal and corporate brands, and driving revenue growth through targeted marketing efforts.
  • Strong understanding of the technology consulting space, with the ability to communicate complex service offerings in a clear, compelling way.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, sales funnel optimization, and campaign management.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and content creation skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Ads, Terminus (or 6sense), Google Ads and more innovative AI tools).
