What you'll do...
The Manager, Project Managment role is focused on Transportation Procurement and the ongoing development of Walmart’s procurement process. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to collaborate cross functionally within the Supply Chain, primarily engaging with Transportation Execution teams throughout the company. The role is based in Bentonville, Arkansas, and reports to the Director – Transportation Procurement.

- Possess a high level of data literacy to be able to gather, consume, and analyze and provide visualizations and modeling of procurement data inputs and outputs.
- Relationship Management – ability to build trust with external/external stakeholders.
- Analytical Mindset – capable of making wide reaching and impactful financial and operational decisions supported by a technical aptitude to analyze.
- Possess an understanding of the Transportation Industry across multiple modes (Truckload, Flatbed, LTL, Parcel)
You’ll make an impact by…
- Drive Cost/Value – Engage with external providers to find ways to reduce cost and drive efficiency through RFP execution and 1:1 Negotiation opportunities.
- Manage Carrier Relationships – Serve as a carrier liaison between Walmart and supplier base, providing a trusted source of engagement.
- Data Analytics – Provide analytical insights using historical data to inform decision making cost impacts in a meaningful way through simplified visualizations.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
