What you’ll be doing...
As the Program Manager you will be responsible for managing a large scale Government Enterprise Unified Communications program. The Program Manager shall oversee and authorize all actions taken during the contract, including, but not limited to, overall life cycle program management, resource allocation, billing and invoicing, and meeting project milestone objectives. The Program Manager shall oversee all other Key Personnel and shall be solely responsible for the overall UC program. The Program Manager shall work directly with customer, internal and third party teams to coordinate activities. The Program Manager shall be certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) in accordance with the Project Management Institute (PMI). The program manager will inform the leadership team to guide the program and the solution. This key position will provide oversight over the program and contract, and also be responsible for the solution as delivered, maintained, and enhanced over the program lifecycle.
- Takes overall responsibility for the program by serving as the single interface to other PMO and customer agency representatives.
- Leads Unified Communications (UC) program by directing, controlling, and administering the program.
- Direct responsibility to oversee Program from implementation, installation, and transition of the UC platform and associated managed services.
- Continuously develops, monitors, and improves lifecycle management and program communications plan.
- Ensures that resources are available, when needed; recruits/retains specialized personnel.
- Enforces work standards, assigns work schedules, reviews discrepancies, and communicates policies, purposes, and goals.
- Ensures contract stand up, discovery, deliverable submissions, and implementation of the full Solution.
- Able to apply core expertise independently and collaboratively to help manage concurrent works streams and achieve timely outcomes.
- Adjust the risk registers as appropriate to account for time, schedule and/or cost impacts.
- Maintain visibility over the entire project schedule and dependencies.
- Work closely with the operational points of contact and contractors.
- Analyze root cause and implement corrective actions.
- Send Routine and contract deliverables such as Status Reports, Project Plans, PMP and SDD documentation.
- Deliver effective meetings by ensuring the team is drafting, coordinating, and distributing an advance agenda, notifying stakeholders of required or optional attendance, staying within the allotted meeting times, taking minutes, reviewing action items, distributing meeting records, and following up on deadlines.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- A Master's degree in Project Management and/or Technology related focus.
- Ten or more years of experience in Contact Center and Unified Communications.
- Five or more years of project management experience with civilian, military, or Government customers.
- Experience managing a UC environment with 100+ Sites, 20,000+ lines and seats.
- Experience in managing Avaya Unified Communications and Contact Centers.
- Active government issued security clearance at a Public Trust level.
- Successful experience working with Federal Government agencies to implement, transition, and manage large, complex technology solutions with an emphasis on Unified Communications and Contact Center solutions.
- Demonstrated analytical, planning, business development and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable comfortable interactions at all levels including senior executives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively manage time in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional work groups, manage project teams and achieve results.
- Experience with service assurance, service delivery and contract management.
- Experience and understanding of DoD accounts and/or Department of Homeland Security.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $108,000.00 and $200,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
