Job Overview:

The product owner plays a crucial role within our organization, representing the customer's voice and acting as the main bridge between the development team and stakeholders. This position is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards and deliver maximum value to our customers. The Product Owner will collaborate closely with a US-based Product Manager, ensuring alignment with company goals, customer needs, and team dynamics. This remote position will be based out of Gainesville, FL. 

About Our Perks, Compensation, & Benefits:
  • $85,000 - $100,000 per year with quarterly bonuses based on performance with total compensation at a range of approximately $103,000-$120,000 per year.

Responsibilities:
    • Backlog Management 
      • Refinement of the product backlog, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and feasibility. 
      • Elaboration of user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the team. 
      • Ensuring backlog items are prioritized based on business value and ROI. 

     

    • Iteration Planning
      • Ensuring a seamless flow of work by working with the development team during sprint planning. 
      • Participating in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. 

     

    • Acceptance
      • Reviewing delivered items against acceptance criteria and either accepting or rejecting the work. 
      • Ensuring that customer feedback is adequately considered and acted upon. 

     

    • Stakeholder Collaboration
      • Regularly liaise with US-based product managers to understand product goals and strategy. 
      • Facilitating communication between the development team and stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding. 

     

    • Continuous Improvement
      • Actively participating in the process of continuous improvement, suggesting and implementing changes to optimize product and team performance. 

     

    • Market Understanding
      • Staying updated with market trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback. 
      • Translating insights from the market into actionable product backlog items. 
Qualifications:
  • Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Professional certification in Agile methodologies is an advantage. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile environment. 
  • Strong understanding of software development processes. 
  • Proficient in backlog management tools. Experience using Aha! is a plus.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 
  • Possess the ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team across different time zones. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented approach. 
  • Minimum internet speed of 25 Download/10 Upload.
