Position Overview
 We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our national sales team, overseeing strategy development, pipeline management, and multi-vertical market expansion. Reporting to the SVP of Sales and Strategic Accounts, this role is key in driving growth within the guarding and off-duty police space. The ideal candidate is a strategic, process-driven leader with strong solution-selling experience and a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual sales strategy to align with company objectives.
  • Set and manage sales goals, pipeline, and market share targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing national sales team.
  • Engage with key clients, attend meetings, and oversee major accounts.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on sales forecasts, efficiencies, and strategic direction.
  • Oversee sales training programs to support team growth and achievement of sales objectives.
  • Ensure detailed sales forecasting and manage the department’s budget.
  • Travel to meet clients, build relationships, and support team initiatives as needed (40% travel).

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years in sales leadership; 7+ years in a management role.
  • Proven track record in team development, strategic sales planning, and pipeline management.
  • Ability to analyze data, set priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in CRM tools (Salesforce or equivalent) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Security industry experience is desirable but not required.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
