CompHealth Allied Staffing, a division of CHG, is currently seeking a leader of our Learning and Development team, who wants to be part of our award-winning Putting People First culture. As the Leader of Learning and Development, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Coaches, managing our new hire training, employee development and building a training department within the division.
Responsibilities:
- Hiring and development of the team
- In partnership with divisional leadership, create and execute an effective employee retention plan
- Implement growth strategy and develop structure of the training team
- Ability to use strategic goals and objectives of the division and design programs to help company to maximize goals
- Monitors effectiveness of training programs and makes necessary changes to enhance overall effectiveness of programs
- Participate in management meetings and provide feedback/suggestions to solve departmental issues
- Develop effective relationships with all levels of leadership throughout organization and use these relationships to enhance and improve divisional training
- Manages and develop team, which includes adhering to employment policies and procedures and implementing corrective action when necessary
- Conduct individual performance appraisals of team members or leaders and take needed action regarding their progress/results
- Develop and implement coaching curriculum for new sales hires and existing employees as needed
- Provide coaching to direct reports, newly hired and existing employees and supplemental coaching to existing employees
- Act as a backup trainer for other classes relating to employee development
- Create training assessment tools such as quizzes and role plays
Qualifications:
- Effective public speaking and information presentation skills
- Training needs analyses, program development and assessment
- Exceptional organization, prioritization, and time management skills
- Strong business understanding and knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Demonstrated history of successful training and leadership experience
- Strong people leadership experience with the ability to lead, develop, motivate, and influence a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to mentor, coach and give and receive feedback
- Demonstrated history of successful training and leadership experience
- Demonstrated competency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- 3-5 years sales training and coaching process experience
- 3-5 years leadership experience
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $81,400 -- $176,000 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
