Job description

Overview:

PURPOSE: Reporting to the Digital Experience Manager, the Event Technology Specialist will maintain audiovisual conferencing equipment in our Evansville, Indiana facilities, manage small and large-scale in-person and remote events, facilitate executive-level global webinars, and help determine virtual meeting standards for our company.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and manage audio visual systems, integrated rooms, and virtual meeting technology uin our Evansville, Indiana headquarters, local and regional facilities.

· Manager both small and large-scale events/meetings involving senior executive staff

· Provide remote support to all our facilities to ensure that event/meeting needs are met and the equipment/software is working properly

· Ability to work outside normal office hours to setup, test and execute events on a global scale

· Maintain an understanding of related technical solutions including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Poly, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Platforms

· Assist with Berry’s Digital Signage and Guest Check-In platforms

· Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements

· Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent working experience

· Strong technical aptitude, problem solving, organizational, communication, and project management

· Ability to travel as necessary Collaborate with IT, HR & Marketing teams on new initiatives; Non-local travel requirements: 0-10%

· Interest / understanding in Office 365, A/V, video conferencing equipment and digital signage is a must to be successful in this role

· Familiarity with recording and or streaming software is preferred

· Understanding of sound mechanics is preferred

· Ability to keep information confidential is required

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
