Supply Chain Management - Sales Support

*This is a REMOTE role.*

Procurement and Supply Chain Management (SCM) - Responsible for the strategy and execution of category management, sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management in support of both direct and indirect spend. The group coordinates with the internal stakeholders to develop an ecosystem of product and service suppliers that meet the cost, quality, business, and delivery requirements of the business units. This function is the owner of the end-to-end source-to-settle business process.

Essential Job Functions

The main goal is to work with DXC Sales and Pursuit teams during the presales to support revenue growth by optimizing third party costs to achieve price to win.

Additional details:

• Maintains excellent working relationships with strategic business stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements and to support the business in achievement of its outcomes.

• Plans and coordinates the procurement of materials, products/services, and equipment necessary for the operation of the assigned deals.

• Recommends strategies for procurement activities.

• Engages with category leaders and other supply chain resources to define and execute supplier strategies, capture cost savings, and implement strategic supplier initiatives for future deals. Identifies and mitigates supplier risks.

• Supports portfolio deal governance reviews by driving compliance to global supply chain strategies and ensuring operational readiness

• Follows Corporate, Regional and Supply Chain policies and procedures. Identifies policy/procedure gaps and brings them to the attention of Supply Chain management.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role in procurement and supply chain

• Proven experience in supply chain management.

• Proficiencies in vendor management, cost control, and procurement strategies

• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications:

• High level of English, other languages are nice to have (Spanish or German)

• Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus

• Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain a plus
