NTT DATA currently seeks an Application Develoer to join our team on a hybrid basis in Overland Park, KS.
Role Responsibilities:
- Understand client/user requirements and how they translate in application features
- Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
- Design creative prototypes according to specifications
- Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
- Perform unit and integration testing before launch
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
- Develop technical documents and guides to accurately represent application design and code
- Performs other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT/Software field.
- Keep current with the latest technologies.
- Confers with users and IT personnel to develop new approaches or alternatives to ensure that user assistance is being provided effectively and efficiently.
- Has an excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in an Application Developer or similar role
- 2+ years of technical knowledge of telecommunications, network and windows operatiing systems
- 2+ years of programming language expereince such as C#, SQL, or JavaScript
- 2+ years of Visual Studio expereince, 2012, 2017, 2019, 2022 as well as SQL Server Managment Studio, MVC programing, and Azure DevOps
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

- Ability to read and analyze technical information to determine the usefulness of hardware and software.
- Resourcefulness and ability to take the initiative in development and completion of work projects.
- Demonstrate excellent time management, prioritization, and ability to multi-task.

- Ability to manage difficult situations and people in a positive and professional manner..
- Must be able to work effectively alone and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel as needed to clients and multiple service center locations.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting annual range for this remote role is ($70,000-$90,000 annual). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
