Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior APD Process Management Consultant with a strong background in Medicaid Eligibility system requirements development. This role will be pivotal in creating a robust framework and processes for managing the Advanced Planning Document (APD) process, with a focus on Medicaid Eligibility system needs. The consultant will oversee the submission, tracking, and reporting of various APDs to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), ensuring alignment with eligibility system requirements and CMS guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Framework Development: Design and implement a comprehensive framework for managing the APD process, emphasizing Medicaid Eligibility system requirements
  • Process Creation: Establish effective processes for the submission, tracking, and reporting of APDs, with considerations for Medicaid Eligibility system development
  • APD Writing: Draft, review, and finalize APDs, ensuring they meet both CMS requirements and Medicaid Eligibility system standards
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all APD-related processes, with specific focus on Medicaid Eligibility system integration and requirements
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports to CMS, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and specific reporting for Medicaid Eligibility system advancements
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with State officials and other stakeholders to ensure effective APD management and coordination around Medicaid Eligibility systems

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successful APD submissions and management within government or healthcare sectors, with a focus on Medicaid Eligibility systems
  • Strong understanding of CMS requirements and regulations, particularly as they pertain to Medicaid Eligibility systems
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state healthcare programs, specifically Medicaid Eligibility requirements and processes
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation processes, especially those involving Medicaid Eligibility systems
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for tracking, writing, and reporting APDs
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within a short timeframe
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and guide teams in process improvement initiatives
