Job description

Chooose builds software to enable the lower carbon fuel value chains in hard-to-abate sectors.

Companies like Alaska Airlines, Air Canada, Delta Air Lines, and Flexport use the Chooose platform to build, operate and scale their SAF programs, and to advance voluntary and compliance carbon initiatives.

With offices in Oslo and Miami, and remote employees across the US and Europe, we are a mission-oriented team that is scaling our business and climate impact in tandem. The company has raised $50M from leading venture capital and strategic investors.

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll be part of the team that builds innovative products with a positive impact to support the transition to a lower-carbon future. Reporting to our Head of Product, you will help chart our course into the future as we continue to evolve from a transactional product to a product suite that includes a heavy UX/UI SaaS offering.  You will be critical to defining problems and building out climate tech solutions for aviation, travel, and maritime companies.  Working closely with a team of engineers and a designer, we aspire for this new joiner to work through product problems and solutions from beginning to end, reflecting the customer voice, business strategy, and quantitative insights.

This is a full-time, in-person role for candidates based in Oslo. Remote candidates in CET are also welcome to apply for B2B contractor arrangement.

What you'll do
  • Work closely with customers, market research, and internal stakeholders to improve our products to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Take on product management responsibilities ensuring team goals are met in various product life cycle stages, such as market research, product research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, partnerships, roadmap development, requirement development, and product launch phases.
  • Take ownership of all quality, usability, and reliability issues of the product suite.
  • Work closely with tech, customer success, sales/marketing, and other departments on the development, release, and follow-up of products to create a state-of-the-art, cutting-edge product suite, pushing the boundaries of the industry.

  • What you bring to the table
  • 3-6 years of experience in product management; comfortable working across the entire double-diamond
  • Thorough understanding of product management, product marketing, sales, tech, and finance.
  • Strong customer orientation and proven experience in sales situations; skilled in representing the company internally and externally.
  • Experience in creating solutions for international markets, and understanding global needs in aviation, travel, freight, fuel, commodities, or maritime industries
  • A deep interest in finding, designing, and deploying technical solutions to global challenges, and the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills that are based on findings.
  • Structured thinking, can show and collaborate on vision, strategy, and execution with engineers and designers
  • Excellent interpersonal and proactive communication skills, independent thinking with a self-starter attitude, who is not afraid to share their opinions.
  • Pay, perks, & more

We offer a competitive salary, the option to participate in our employee equity program, flexible work hours, and access to 'Spaces' coworking space. Come join a fun and supportive team dedicated to advancing climate solutions and tackling significant challenges.

We value diversity and believe forming teams in which everyone can be their authentic self is key to our success. We encourage people from underrepresented backgrounds and different industries to apply.
Compensation will be based on experience and skill, commensurate with market rates, and will include both salary and equity in Chooose.
