Job description

This is a remote position.

Toast is recruiting on behalf of Big 4 consulting firm’s Microsoft practice, seeking talented individuals for multiple cloud technology roles. The firm is looking for professionals with expertise across various hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to join diverse teams driving business transformation through innovative cloud strategies. These roles offer the chance to work on cutting-edge cloud projects for a variety of high-profile clients. Whether you're an expert in cloud architecture, cloud migration, or strategic planning, there are several positions available to match your skillset and career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Across these roles, you'll be involved in developing and executing cloud strategies that align with clients' business needs. Depending on your role, you may lead the assessment of clients' existing IT environments, identifying areas where cloud adoption can enhance efficiency and drive business value. You'll work on creating and managing detailed cloud migration plans, which include outlining resources, timelines, and potential risks.

Collaboration with various cross-functional teams—such as IT, security, and operations—will be essential to ensure smooth cloud integration and deployment. You will also provide expert guidance on cloud architecture, helping to ensure that clients adopt best practices and optimized cloud solutions. In some roles, you’ll be responsible for designing cloud operating models, identifying FinOps opportunities, and leading cost-saving initiatives.

For those in senior positions, you’ll stay updated on industry trends, using that knowledge to guide strategic decision-making and offer innovative cloud solutions to clients. You’ll also build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring successful project delivery. Leadership roles will involve mentoring and developing junior cloud consultants, fostering an environment of continuous learning. Business development responsibilities may include identifying new opportunities, preparing client proposals, and participating in presentations.




Requirements
Requirements vary depending on role, some including:
  • Cloud Expertise: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native technologies, relevant to the specific role.
  • IT Infrastructure Understanding: Experience with IT infrastructure, application development, and data management in a cloud environment.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are highly valued.
  • Microsoft Implementation Experience: Practical experience with Microsoft cloud solutions is preferred.
  • Varying Levels of Leadership & Consulting Experience: Proven track record of managing cloud initiatives, driving strategy, or delivering client services depending on the role applied for.
