Area Sales Manager – North West UK (Engineering Polymers)

Location: North West UK

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join a leading polymer distributor and compounder. You will be responsible for driving sales and business development within the North West UK region, focusing on engineering polymers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a market leader in the polymer sector and to use your technical expertise and business acumen to grow the company's footprint in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive business growth in the North West UK region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide technical consultation and support to customers on engineering polymers, ensuring alignment with their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the polymer industry.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the plastics industry, with a focus on engineering polymers.
  • A strong network of contacts within the industry.
  • Technical and commercial acumen to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Self-driven, ambitious, and highly motivated to achieve results.
  • Based in the North West UK with the flexibility to travel within the region as required.
