Job Overview

Join our distinguished Digital Finance Transformation firm as an Accountant, where you will play an integral role in driving financial accuracy and operational efficiency within our global organization. As a proud OneStream Diamond Partner, we are dedicated to empowering businesses to achieve their financial objectives through innovative solutions across Financial Transformation, Change Management, and Process Automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the administration of Financial Force (Certinia) across multiple entities to ensure real-time and precise recording of financial transactions.
  • Execute Accounts Payable procedures for various international jurisdictions, ensuring timely vendor payments.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of employee expenses, ensuring compliance with VAT and GST regulations for employees in the UK, Australia, and Canada.
  • Analyze and reconcile financial discrepancies by gathering and reviewing account data to ensure financial integrity.
  • Deliver timely recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information to support strategic decision-making.
  • Perform month-end closing activities, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and tracking of assets and depreciation.
  • Regularly update cash flow reports to aid in financial forecasting and planning for UK, AU, and Canadian entities.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with external accountants and auditors, providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.
  • Manage payroll processing for employees across the UK, Australia, and Canada, including necessary adjustments and journal entries.
  • Monitor staffing communications and ensure updating of project teams in Salesforce (PSA) for accurate invoicing rates.
  • Undertake additional back-office tasks as required.

Required Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of financial accounting principles and GAAP.
  • Proficient in prioritizing multiple assignments while maintaining a sense of urgency.
  • Proven experience in cultivating relationships within a remote workforce.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with time and expense recording systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, with 2 years specific to payroll in an international context.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce/Financial Force (Certinia).
  • A minimum of 2 years of international accounting experience, particularly involving the UK, Canada, and Australia.
  • Familiarity with UK VAT and Australia/Canada GST returns and compliance is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational acumen and meticulous attention to detail.
