Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Construction Project Manager to oversee and lead various projects remotely. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, effective problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills, ensuring outstanding outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct all stages of project management for assigned initiatives, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Create and manage project schedules and maintain documentation, including submittal drawings and vendor contracts.
  • Foster effective communication and cooperation with stakeholders, including sales, engineering, and field teams for seamless project execution.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding project specifics, timelines, and any arising issues with professionalism.
  • Oversee project budgets and expenses, generating reports to monitor financial health and proposing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Organize installation schedules, site meetings, and product deliveries, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
  • Prepare and submit billing, ensuring prompt collection and accurate financial reporting.
  • Conduct site inspections to guarantee compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Cultivate vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to obligations and providing assistance when required.
  • Travel to job sites (approximately 30% of the time) for progress inspections and essential meetings.
  • Engage in problem-solving and present innovative ideas for process enhancement.

Required Skills

  • Proficient project management capabilities in the construction sector.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software, such as Bluebeam and Vista/Viewpoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and track financial performance.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude with an innovative mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience within the construction industry.
  • Relevant certifications or training in construction management are advantageous.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.
