Job Title: Outside Sales Account Manager (Remote - Moving & Storage Sector)

Location: New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania (Preference for candidates within 50 miles of Carlstadt, NJ)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and goal-oriented Outside Sales Account Manager to enhance our team within the Moving & Storage industry. This pivotal role is focused on managing and expanding our business operations across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. You will be entrusted with maintaining and growing an established client portfolio while actively seeking new business prospects. This position allows for remote work and requires regional travel for in-person client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture an existing portfolio of clients in the Moving & Storage sector.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with both current and prospective customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to enhance our market footprint in the designated area.
  • Conduct pricing negotiations, manage order entries, and oversee inventory to effectively meet client demands.
  • Optimize delivery routes to guarantee efficient and timely service.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Senior VP of Sales regarding business performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve customer inquiries and elevate service quality.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 12 months of outside sales experience, ideally within the Moving & Storage industry.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management and pricing strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to operate independently and maintain self-motivation in a remote work setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to travel regionally with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of outside sales experience is required, preferably in the Moving & Storage domain.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, while a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not necessary.
