Job description

This role supports the Marketplace business unit and reports directly to the EVP, of Marketplace. As Marketplace Revenue Operations Leader it is your mission to drive the effectiveness and efficiency of the Marketplace team. You will manage reporting efforts, project manage cross-functional initiatives, and implement processes that scale. You will work with the Marketplace leadership team (MP Sales, MP Marketing, MP Product, MP Success Services) to ensure the appropriate data flows and processes are put in place to execute our initiatives.

You are responsible for breaking down silos between sales, marketing, and customer success, streamlining the entire customer lifecycle (from lead generation to customer retention and advocacy), managing data and analytics across these functions, and ensuring that all teams work together toward common revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Performance Metrics, Reporting, and Reporting Cadences
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, customer engagement, wallet spend, wallet retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with the Marketplace Leads to define the relevant business dashboards. Project manage the design and execution of the dashboards with the Data team.
  • Own the quarterly strategic initiative process (QBR) for Marketplace. Drive quarterly retrospectives on Initiatives and partner with business owners to gather initiative impacts and learnings. Partner with Marketplace business owners to define Marketplace KPIs, set targets, and ensure proper reporting in place to track KPIs.
  • Oversee Monthly Business Reviews - collect data, analyze data, and surface insights to Marketplace leadership that are both quantified and actionable. Maintain deep knowledge of the business to ensure reporting accurately reflects the state of the business as we continue to scale.
  • Drive Agenda for Weekly Analytics Discussions
    • Scoreboard review - ensure is updated
    • Solicit topics from Marketplace leads to share results
    • Keep relevant data communications up to date e.g. Exec and board flash reports, business weekly updates etc.
    • Establish, measure and monitor team performance against quarterly OKRs
  • Part of the Marketplace Leadership team and guide investment strategies, strategic planning etc.
  • Project Management
  • Establish meetings and communications cadence, associated reporting and agenda requirements, and team preparedness
  • Own the data roadmap (Business dashboard, ad hoc analyses, product dashboards etc.) and project manage data analytics efforts.
  • Partner with the Data team and the Marketplace data analysts to define the data roadmap and ensure the delivery of data initiatives
  • Budget Management and Forecasting
  • Manage the budget for Marketplace, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support the revenue-generating functions.
  • Support the Marketplace forecast process and work with business leaders and Finance to set targets and keep forecasts up to date.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to reconcile monthly forecasting data and provide accurate financial reporting

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of work experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, management consulting other related field
  • Proactive, self-starter who is experienced in delivering a measurable impact to sales and GTM teams
  • Excellent financial modeling skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Experience driving cross-functional initiatives with speed and efficiency
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, Amplitude or Intercom a PLUS
