Job Title: Remote Vacation Rental Manager (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $3,000 - 4,000 USD/month depending on experience & PTO based on tenure

Schedule: Flexible schedule mostly working Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week but will require some hours on weekends that will be previously agreed upon.

Job Overview:

Our client is a Short-Term Rental (Airbnb/VRBO) business located in Scottsdale, AZ. They help procure and manage properties to operate as Short-Term Rentals (STR) to maximize return on investment for their clients. Manage online and phone customer service, operations, and marketing of a Short-Term Rental (Airbnb/VRBO) business located in Scottsdale, AZ. Gain experience in residential property management and hospitality. Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), improve them and train others to use them. Identify areas to improve our processes and follow-through on implementing projects. Incentives available for expanding the company's revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Email & Mobile Apps: Respond to prospective guest inquiries & questions using communication templates & Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Inventory/Supplies Management: Track, purchase, and organize supplies for consumables (food & beverage amenities, toiletries, house supplies, towels/linens), and replacing furniture and home furnishings as needed.
  • Organization & Communication: document, track, and manage short/medium/long-term projects related to property management (set up, repair, maintenance, improvements)
  • Negotiate Pricing and Get Bookings: Send offers & negotiate bookings using various online platforms
  • Expand Marketing: Post listings on other web properties and social media


Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:

  • Master's Degree is highly preferred
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Good sense of cost/benefit analysis
  • Detail-oriented, especially with writing, spelling and mathematical calculations
  • Must be comfortable doing work on a mobile phone when on-the-go (chat apps, copy/pasting templates, working with Google Sheets/Docs/Calendar on a smartphone)
  • Demonstrated initiative to solve problems and willingness to ask for help when needed
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Willingness to work very flexible hours and be on-call during agreed-upon hours to respond to urgent inquiries and issues
  • Motivated to provide excellent experiences, not only for our guests, but also for our neighbors
  • Strong organizational skills including scheduling, documenting processes and coordinating projects
  • Flexible and eager to learn new skills
