Job Title: Maritime Academy Recruiter (Remote, High School Outreach)

Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated recruiter to join our team and play a crucial role in inspiring high school students to embark on a rewarding maritime career. As a Maritime Academy Recruiter, you will work remotely to engage with high school students, parents, guidance counselors, and school administrators to promote enrollment in our academy’s unique programs. If you’re passionate about maritime education and helping young people explore new career paths, this position could be a perfect fit!

Key Responsibilities

• High School Outreach: Develop and maintain relationships with high school guidance counselors, educators, and administrators to increase awareness and understanding of maritime career opportunities.
• Student Engagement: Inspire and engage with high school students through virtual presentations, webinars, Q&A sessions, and one-on-one consultations to help them understand the benefits of maritime education and career pathways.
• Enrollment Support: Guide prospective students and their families through the application process, providing them with the information, resources, and support they need to successfully apply to and enroll in the academy.
• Relationship Management: Build lasting connections with high school communities, participating in virtual career fairs, educational events, and other remote outreach efforts.
• Data Tracking & Reporting: Track outreach efforts, maintain an organized pipeline of prospective students, and provide regular updates on recruitment activities and results.
• Brand Advocacy: Serve as a knowledgeable ambassador of the academy, capable of answering questions about maritime careers, programs, and the unique opportunities provided by our institution.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or related field; experience with high school outreach is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for connecting with high school students and building rapport virtually.
• Knowledge of or interest in maritime industries and related career paths.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in virtual meeting software and CRM systems.
  
  

Additional Information

This is a fully remote role with flexible scheduling options, though some evenings may be required to accommodate student availability. Occasional travel may be requested for key in-person events.
