Job description

Company Overview: Emerging Tech is a dynamic and innovative government contractor dedicated to providing IT services and solutions to clients. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Analyst to join our team and contribute to bridging the gap between IT solutions and supplying the right talented personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and reviewing resumes of potential candidates for various positions within the company.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles.
  • Assist in the coordination of interviews, including scheduling and providing necessary information to candidates.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate information.
  • Assist in the creation of job descriptions and job specifications for various roles.
  • Support the development of employer branding initiatives to attract top talent to the organization.
  • Assist in conducting reference checks and background screenings for selected candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to gather feedback and ensure a seamless recruitment process.
  • Assist in creating reports and dashboards to track recruitment metrics and progress.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field, or recent graduate.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in candidate records and information.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Enthusiasm for learning about the recruitment and talent acquisition process.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Interest in IT and government contracting industries is a plus.
  • Must be available from 11AM - 5PM
