Job description

Interlace Health is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team! We specialize in EHR-integrated forms workflow & automation solutions that save healthcare organizations time, lower costs, reduce errors, and improve the patient and staff experience. As a Business Development Representative, you will provide lead-generation and sales support to territory reps through customer engagement and marketing leads.

You will act as a liaison between our customers and outside sales team. You will be naturally curious, results-driven, and eager to bring our product/services to new markets.

This is a 100% remote opportunity; therefore, we are open to hiring in any city/state; however, for those local to the greater St. Louis area, you will have access to our headquarters office space. We would prefer to hire someone in the Midwest region, but we are also open to the East Coast.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact and qualify leads - Prospect new sales leads by making an initial phone or email contact through campaign management. Engage the account and prepare them for the Outside Representative. Connect with as many leads as possible to encourage the purchase of the product offered. Be the point person for your team's sales lead qualification process.
  • Manage current accounts – Stay in close contact with existing accounts or leads and create brand awareness, educational opportunities, and request referrals. Coordinate in-person meetings and calls between the new clients and outside sales reps.
  • Administrative support - including territory research, CRM updates and assisting outside reps in booking closed-won business.
  • Perform Sales - support end to end sales process with small non-acute leads and opportunities, with the goal to move into an outside sales role.
  • Customer support – Answer calls and emails from clients, identify the issue and make suggestions for future or new products or services.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred; or one to two years related experience and or training
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Familiarity with MS Office, MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Experience working with healthcare software systems such as EHRs and other clinical systems would be extremely helpful
  • Some travel required to tradeshows and companywide events, as well as to our corporate headquarters in St. Louis, MO.
