Overview:   We have an opportunity for an Associate or Senior Counsel Attorney with Appellate and Advanced Motions experience to join our Coral Gables, FL location.  Members of our appellate and complex motion group prepare and argue major and case-dispositive motions; brief and argue appeals and writs; and sit on trial teams to manage, brief, and argue legal issues, jury instructions, and motions during trial.  When you join our team of legal professionals you can expect to be given significant responsibility and have immediate involvement with litigation matters.  This position is hybrid and offers work from home and in-office workdays.

Skills / Qualifications:  

  • JD from accredited law school
  • Current Florida Bar admission
  • 3+ years of experience in appellate and complex motion litigation
  • Trial experience, preferred
  • Understanding of current state and federal procedures
  • Excellent research, writing and oral communication skills
  • Experience writing and arguing major motions and appeals.
  • Judicial clerkship and product liability and commercial litigation background are a plus, but not required
